JL Soares is a strategist, entrepreneur, and specialist in counterintelligence and complex case resolution, founder of Perseu Counterintelligence — an international structure dedicated to neutralizing human, corporate, and institutional impasses of high complexity.

Educated in an environment of academic excellence — having studied at Gordonstoun International School in Scotland, the same institution attended by King Charles III — he developed from an early age a global vision of leadership, discipline, and strategic analysis.

A descendant of one of the pioneering families in Brazilian road transportation, founders of Viação Andorinha, JL carries within his lineage a DNA of management, expansion, and resilience that guides all his business fronts.

After leading a long and complex judicial interdiction process involving his mother — a case that inspired the creation of Perseu Counterintelligence — Soares coordinated legal, technical, and behavioral operations that involved lawyers, doctors, and even high-risk situations with individuals connected to criminal organizations.

Once the interdiction was concluded, guardianship was assumed by one of his sisters. Despite the family legitimacy, management divergences limited the continuity of the original technical plan. Perseu, however, maintained an institutional and ethical stance, choosing to preserve family ties and restrict its role to consultative and technical observation.

Beyond Perseu, JL is also the founder of Smith & Lemes, a high-end executive transportation service designed for foreigners visiting Brazil, renowned for its security, discretion, and operational excellence.

Today, Soares leads the global expansion of Perseu, with active presence in Brazil, Israel, Russia, and the United States, applying the same standards of strategic precision, legality, and confidentiality that have made Perseu one of the leading private counterintelligence structures in Latin America.
